Over het bedrijf

Analyst Exposure / Reconsiliations position for the exposure management team within the financial markets department at an international bank.

The team of Exposure Management is responsible for the effective management of exposure for all repo, securities lending and equity finance trades. They are also responsible for the processing of Equity Triparty and DBV transactions and offer the Securities Lending desk first line support.


Over de functie

Daily Responsibilities:

  • To calculate and ensure all margin requirements are met;
  • Monitor corporate actions and any subsequent recall of stock;
  • Daily confirmation to relevant clients of cash pool figures;
  • Liaise with Credit department on solvency issues, margin thresholds, late receipts of margin calls and credit line usage;
  • Process daily funding requirements;
  • MIS Reporting;
  • Update price information;
  • Reconciliations/Investigations;
  • Fails management in conjunction with settlements;
  • Liaise with customers, front and back office departments;
  • Training of new staff;
  • Instigate improvements to the current process and procedures;
  • Contribute as required to any new business developments.

Functie eisen

  • Required: Minimum 2 years experience in any of the following: equity finance; securities lending; exposure management / margin processing ;collateral management;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Beneficial: knowledge of Dutch language;
  • Beneficial: knowledge of Equity or Bond (triparty/DBV)Settlements;
  • Beneficial: knowledge of external funding processes;
  • Beneficial: knowledge of ARTS / Bloomberg / Intellimatch / SWIFT.
